Although the sun failed to shine on the Shaldon Bowling Club's Open Day, members enjoy a friendly competition. Among the highlights of the event was the ever-popular 'Spider' challenge, where players played for the nearest wood to the Jack.

Barry Mears stole the show, beaming with pride as he claimed victory in the Spider competition. His perfectly placed shot earned him the applause of the crowd, adding a touch of excitement to the day's festivities.

The Open Day not only showcased exceptional bowling talent but also celebrated community spirit, creating lasting memories for all who attended.
